Our Purpose & Values

Our official launch as Cooper Grace Ward during 2006 set the stage for a number of important strategic decisions. Since then, our Leadership Team have participated in a major strategic planning process where we set the course of the business for the coming five year period. We also involved our entire team of 160+ in a series of workshops to review and refine our core Purpose and Values - that is, who we are and what we stand for as a firm.

To determine our Purpose and Values, we engaged external facilitators to guide our team through some very unique and memorable workshop exercises. As we were led through these exercises, a professional artist painted her interpretation of our Values based on what she heard and observed. Each team member then made their own mark on the artwork to symbolise their support for the Values. This amazing piece of collaborative artwork was unveiled on Friday 10 November, and is now on display in our reception area. It serves as a potent reminder to everyone of what we have committed to.

We have begun implementing a number of initiatives across the firm to ensure we maintain momentum in living out our Values, applying them consistently in our business decisions and our everyday work.

We sincerely thank all of the CGW team who have contributed to this process and have given us an outcome that is truly representative of the whole firm.
