The Bill to abolish the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal passed through the Senate last night. What does this mean?

Following the vote in the Senate last night, the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal will be abolished and the Road Safety Remuneration Act 2012 (Cth) repealed.

Following the vote in the Senate last night, the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal will be abolished and the Road Safety Remuneration Act 2012 (Cth) repealed. The Bill abolishing the RSRT and repealing the Act is expected to receive Royal Assent today, which means the RSRT and all Orders of the RSRT will cease to take effect from the start of 21 April 2016.
